Blinds - Advantages and Disadvantages

There are many advantages and disadvantages when it comes to putting blinds up on all your windows. First of all they are good in some rooms than others. Blinds can be great for kitchens and bathroom but not favorite in bedrooms. Blinds are very easy and make and can make your window look clean cut. They can block out sunlight allowing the room to be cooler. You can control the amount of light that you want in the room but that is about it.

As easy as they are there are disadvantages as well. Unlike curtains which can be used as a form of insulation blinds will not keep a room warm in the winter. They are made from vinyl, plastic, wood and woven fabrics. They are made up of slats and string and since they are not one whole piece they will not block air or any kind of draft that gets straight through the windows.

Blinds for any window could be great depending on your preference and as long as you do not need insulation. This type of window cover is excellent for offices and small rooms. They do give you privacy and a relaxed feeling but they are not for you if you want to make s room cozy.
